They aren't working for me, and I haven't done anything wrong, so I shouldn't be getting banned... Is anyone else having this problem?

GameFAQs is a website consisting of codes, reviews, message boards, and, of course, FAQs. GameFAQs should only be browsed for the codes and FAQs and NOT for the boards.
Like Genmay, GameFAQS tends to recycle old SA gags, although most users probably don't even know of SA's existence. Most of them probably think the now-unfunny gags originated from GameFAQs itself. Even though you must be 13 or over to post on GameFAQs, it's questionable on the actual age of many users, considering the lack of grammar, coherency, or sometimes general common sense. GameFAQs' social boards should be avoided at all costs.
A user's worth is often judged on a "karma" point system, the general idea and terminology taken from Slashdot. In the past, you needed to post at least once a day to get that day's karma point, resulting in trash like "Karma post!" appearing everywhere.
Also, some users have actually liked the board's original and simplistic design, leading to various spinoffs, some with more features than the original has itself.
However, not every board on GameFAQs is entirely useless. You may actually get a helpful reply on a generally less-frequented game board on some hard-to-find information.
