Gamespy - the unfaithful

Seems that all of gamespy (not only PHL/Fragmaster) disbelives so much that HL2 will not come out on time that they didn't even include the title in the Game Releases: September 2003 .

Come on... Gamespy should show at least a little faith in Valve...

Just bring it to your attention people... don't flame me...

They list Half Life 2 as Q4 2003. Which is October - December. It's one day off 30th of September.

Probably because they haven't recieved official word off Vivendi after Vivendi told them it was delayed.

yeah they are idiots. one time I went on to their half life forums to ask for help (my opposing force wasn't installing for some reason) and it said I was banned, which was interesting considering i've never used their forums before

I bet gamespy pulled that fake Gabe interview stunt too. I even did a whois database seach on the nerdsahoy.com domain, and to my surprise I get this:

That interview posted at nerdsahoy.com is actually pretty funny The fakeness can be told by the fact that "Gabe" said that you'll be revisiting Xen, and also by the reason it was delayed

I still don't know what this has to do with GameSpy and id...?

Shortly after all the rumours of delay I was at my EB and I said. "Amuse me for a moment. When's Half-Life 2 coming out?"
The only reply he gave me was, "That's a good question."

I doubt they even know now. The majority of the people that work there have never played a video game.

I quite like this September 30th release date.
