i have garry's mod 9 and its working BUT
wheni get into a game the screen is black
i can see my health and crosshair but the rest is black
i can hear sounds but the screen is black
what do i do?

Yes, that's because it's been superseded. It is not supported. It is dead. It is obsolete. So...

You could buy 10.

You could not play Gmod.

You could try simple things such as updating drivers, verifying your caches, upgrading your computer, fishing around the internet for a different version.

You could really truly make sure your screen's on.

Yeah, okay, only pay attention to the one that isn't serious. There's a power button on the front of your screen, the TV thing that you look into to see your computer. Make sure that your 'TV' is attached to a power socket with the correct cable, and then press that button. Easy.:thumbs:

Try capitalising the start of your sentences. And structure them properly. And as in a more refined manner. People might be more inclined to help you.

You know, if you have a look at the help section, you will notice lots and lots of threads. A lot are polite requests for help, with polite responces. Most of these are resolved for the OP and everyone is happy.

The rest are where the OP asks a question, and flames anyone who dosen't spoon feed him the correct answer within seconds. These kind of threads tend to end with the OP not getting the answer he wants.

Now, I am sure your responce will be a flame, or a complaint that everyone else started it. However, if you want some help, I suggest you do the following. Amend your ****ing tone. You want us to help you, then you need to be polite. It does not matter if we are being rude (And beleive me, no one would have been if you wern't rude), you need to be polite to us. You are the one that wants something for nothing. If your problem dosen't get fixed, your the only one that suffers, we don't care.

If you don't beleive me, try it for a few posts. I would start with an appology, because no one wants to help you atm. Then, read the replys fully, try out everything that is suggested and post the result. If somone suggests something obvious, just say that you have tryed it.

Now, you can take my advise, or you can go without gmod 9. Up to you.

Might one day get around to purchasing it. But for now, I'd just prefer some fresh shoot-em-up. Half-Life 2's not as fun when you know what's going to happen.
