GCFScape download problem

Can't download this file...the site keeps directing me to the same page instead linking me to a download direction or simply downloading it...

Anyone who can help or can transfer this program to me?

*edit wierd, it's removing the site name from the URL... so the link won't work.

Nope. Spoke too soon. V1.5 aparantly can't handle the size of gcf files that come in HL2. Off to hunt again.

Since i really like the music in the game, i searched for a way to extract it. My search turned up GCFScape... The dev's site doesn't work, thats obvious. But the program doesn't either.

I get an error. Is that just me?

I get a "application failed to initialize properly" error and it closes.

so can't use it either..

You need the .NET framework from Windows Update.
