hey, i thought it was said that nvidia cards were unable to run hl2.

geforce cards r nvidia, so how come u say they can run it?

Hrm? No one have said Nvidia cards cant run it. Everyone (or rather, fanATIcs like me) has said the FX will run it VERY poorly in native DX9, and it seems we where right after all (HA! Take that all "FX WILL RULEZ HL2" Fanboys )
The G4Ti series is an awesome piece of hardware. Its amazing it can still keep up so good. But it cant run DX9. It can run DX8 (that is, it can run HL2 in DX8 mode) nearly as fast as the 5900.
