Ghost in the Shell: Source

Has anybody thought of creating a modification like Ghost in the Shell: Source. With all the characters from Stand Alone Complex.

But it did. The japanese folk released several Ghost in the Shell games on Playstation and PS2, and they did alright too. Down my way we're now only just about to get the last lot of episodes of season 2 shipped in on DVD, so it wouldn't be suprising if we never see those games in english. They looked cool, if a bit old by our standards. There's a few trailers on the DVD's special features in some editions.

It would be cool to see done, but I doubt the right holders would like making much out of it...

Oni took a big influence from the GITS franchise, probably the closest non-GITS game you'll get IMO.

Neotokyo is the closest to a Ghost in the Shell mod so far.
