Yes, I know its a drawing of a cat... and it may seem a bit "gay".
But its my ace up the sleef for when girls ask me too show them some drawings I made.
And instead of giving them weapon wielding soldier's or MOD concept art, I prefere to show them this, ... : / hmm-kee !?

nah just kidding, i love KATZ :p !!1

Drawn well but kind of odd :p

How did you make it?

great picture! :D

detail lines are abit scribbly, shadows are too grey, perspective is inconsistent

I dunno, I like the layered feel of the thing. It's awesome.

I love it, the cloud floading above, with beams of light cutting through the dark days, in the rocky mountains as a cat strolls by. Very cute

thanks guys !

I did it in photoshop, in about 2 -3 hours.

edit: crits... anyone ??

I like it, but the cat isnt standing on the rocks. Its kinda just floating on them.

Hmm... Just noticed that... Not to obvious when you look at the whole pictur though. :/

Thanks for the crits.
Indeed, the perspective is kind of inconsistent. As for the cat floating above the rocks, that could be secret leet cat powers, or the lack of shadow around the paws.
Keep the criticism comming, i'm still learning alot from the feedback.

edit: haha, i spelled sleeve wrong :p

i have a suggestion, make the cat sit on a high rock. Would look much awesomer imo

I think the method of cat-colouring is inconsistant with the background method of colouring.

I think.

Not sure...

And what's so bad about that? This is actually done sometimes to differentiate characters from the rest of the scene, or to draw the attention of the viewer in a certain point using different coloring techniques. I should know since both the high school and the Uni I'm currently at specialise in the art department.

Of course this is a good technique only if it's done right:cheese:

Yeah, but to my eye it's like the cat was drawn seperately and placed on top of a photo or something like that...

Thanks for all the feedback!!

Well, I guess the cat is more satureted then the background, and that does make it inconsistent.
But I did this on purpose. I wanted too show that the sun is shining on the cat.

What I think is missing is some more sunlight on the rocks nexto the cat what would make the area around the cat more satureted aswell...
what would take away the inconsistency of colouring.

I'll keep it in mind for the next drawing ill do.

If you spot something you like, or dislike, tell me. All feedback is welcome.
