lol it's about time. I'm hoping Fox fires him

Some of the nation's biggest advertisers are distancing themselves from Fox News host Glenn Beck after he called President Obama a racist during a July 28 broadcast.

The controversy stems from Beck's comment that President Obama is a "racist" with "a deep-seated hatred for white people."

some of the advertisers have shifted their advertising money to other parts of fox so fox is most likely not hurting from this (except bad press) ..glenn beck on the other hand will be hit directly where it counts; his (shows) pocketbook

I read this yesterday and it made me so happy. Not too surprising either. The guy is a ****ing asshole.

Watch the newest Daily Show on their website/hulu to see Jon making fun of him pretty good about this.

Anyways, Cpt. Stern, dont even think for a minute that fox would fire him for this. They're probably loving him right now. He gets some of the highest ratings on any news network.

Yeh Beck deserves to be fired...along with Nancy Grace, Bill O Reilly, Sean Hannity, and well...most of Fox News. I know Nancy Grace isn't on Fox news but shes a real bitch. :)

yeah I saw that...anal surgery lol

I really hope Glenn Beck is some kind of Andy Kaufman/Sascha Baron Cohen act.

He would go down in history as the worlds largest, most successful troll ever to have lived.

we should pull out my "which fox news anchor" thread...let me look for it

They are all douches. I think political opposition is an important thing, by keeping those in power under critical scrutiny, but the vapidity of the position that the republicans and their talking heads have long since adopted is fairly lamentable. This whole healthcare debate is a good example of opposition purely for the sake of opposition, rather than because its an issue that strongly deserves opposition (healthcare for everyone..surely a good thing no?).

I've a feeling that if a killer disease was sweeping the world and US scientists had found an antidote and Obama wanted to give it out freely to everyone, Glen Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Hannity, Ann Coulter, Limbaugh & any number of right wingers would find a reason to provoke an argument against it ('why should we help other nations?', 'why shouldn't people pay to live?').

As much as his predictions turn out to be right, the guys a dick.
