Gordon under-rated storywise (Spoilers)

I think that people underestimate Gordon on story threads.
I noticed something Nilath (Can anyone spell his name?) in HL2
"You are man, he is not man, for you he waits"
This is about G-man and proves he isn't Gordon from the future.
But also the "for you he waits" bit is what I noticed, G-man is waiting for Gordon, I don't think he is just waiting for Gordon to free Xen but I think he knows something about Gordon and fears him for it. And is using Gordon as a weapon because of this. Mabey keeps him in statis to stop him changing sides because he knows Gordon is too powerful for him. Maybe that is why he is letting him off to the highest bidder.

Gman more than likely keeps Gordon on ice to keep him from growing old on him. No use in having a Super-Soldier with arthritis.
