grafic problem with ep1

How hot is your video card?
If you don't know exactly, download RivaTuner (Link), install it and check your temperature through the output statistics.

I run ep1 for about 5 min and the temperature raised from 43 to 53. Then it came down fast again to 43. I think it is ok...

Yes, that seems alright.
Do you have the latest DirectX drivers and the latest nVidia drivers?

in options ep1: Hadrware DirectX level v9.0+
Software DirectX level v9.0.
in console: mat_dxlevel = 95

Try mat_dxlevel 90.

Have you downloaded the latest DirectX update (June, I think)? It fixed a few problems with EP1.
