gravity gun

I have made my way through the big metal gate!!! I am not battling a helicopter and cannot figure out how to kill it. I was told by a friend I need the "gravity gun!" What gravity gun?? I never saw one to pick up.....help....

you need to run, dont bother trying to destroy it. dont think conventional gaming when playing HL2. When you're running, just keep going, look for a door, a shaft to run down to get away, anything to get away form this huge thing shooting at you.

I think you're looking for a door blocked with some barrells.
Just move them, the door is blue.

You'll get a gun for your airboat later on, then you can shoot at it. In the meantime, just stay away from it.
