Yep, Half-Life 2 is the subject of a beautiful cover and article in the summer '04 issue of gamestar magazine. While there isn't really any info that would be new to anyone following all the online articles and interviews, there's some good commentary from Gabe Newell, as well as a story from yet another person who played the 3 scenes that Valve has been letting the media play. There's also a sidebar about the face poser (with a screenshot!), which is interesting. It's got a small screenshot of Hammer, too. I haven't really been following which screenshots have been released from the game, but it appears that they took new ones for this article (I could be wrong).
Also talk about the physics, system requirements, the delay (nothing new, but the delay and code theft is explained a TEENSY bit)
The issue also comes with a CD with 2 bink videos that we've seen before - the "Tunnels" and "Coastline" videos.
Despite the lack of anything really new, I would still recommend picking up this magazine if you can find it (I got mine from Best Buy), if nothing else for the beautious cover.
