half-life 2 plot going off the rails?

How do you know there will be no teleporters? have you played hl2? no of course you havnt. Just because there is no visit to xen doesnt mean there wont be teleporters...i mean did you watch the E3 2004 trailer? Dr. Mossman said that they can slingshot around the borderworld and coem back again without having to pass through.

All you have seen are a few zombies huh, ant lions...headcrabs...the vortigaunts...not to mention the fact that gabe confirmed that the bullsquid, the houndeye, the barnacle and the ichtysaour will be back..

Oh and fender, there was no confirmation that the combine were dr breens creation, i think there is more to it than wanting to control humans...there is a reason for doing that - alien invasion

Nobody knows, for sure, anything about the details of Half Life 2, so if evryone "keeps quiet" until it is realeased because they dont know for sure, there wont actualy be anyone talking about it. No i dont know what is going to happen, i am just speculating about it, why dont you do to all the other speculators and tell them to keep quiet because they dont know what going to happen.

sorry. it's just that all of us fans of doom3 and HL2 are a little edgy here because everyone always feels the need to nit pick every little thing and compare it to HL2.

anyways, I just got through the alpha labs last night, so I might be able to help if you tell me where your stuck, but just remember to use spoiler tags if your describing anything too revealing, or you might piss some people off.

The story has to move on, it cant stay the same, we cant have the military again, we have been there done that. Valve cant stick xen is just because of the minority (you). most people dont even want to go back to xen.
