Half Life 2 =/

Ive just signed up to the forums after playing half life 2, after completing it many times me and my friend have found wierd things around, 2 in particular, which im sure many of you have found. The first thing is, the guy at the start you speak to, we have seen him throughout the game on TV's, security camera screens and through telescopes and i was wondering if anyone has a theory on this...?

Also on Highway 17 i found this cool thing on the wall .. take a look ..

read through our finds on the link that samon provided and youll be pleased with ALL of the finds there are to see in HL2.

if you only noticed those two things while playing HL2 several times, youre not looking hard enough... theres ALOT of 'hidden' things that are interesting to see.
 
ive looked on that link but cant find the topic about the guy .. and i really really wanna know who he is, cuz i didnt play hl1 :( and i wanna know why i seemt o spot hime very where =/
 
ah k thanks, also i was wondering is half life 1 : anthlogy the actual hl1 game, cause i want to get hl1 to paly it and understand it all abit better...

You won't really get a clearer image of what is going on. But you'll see how it started.
 
The answer to "who" or "what" the gman is still isn't really clear yet.
But definitely play HL1 at some point.
 
you wont really miss anything playing hl2 before hl1 but hl1 is still fun
 
yeh i this streaming demo, was funny lol, the vortagons (or w.e) looked proper funny :D

Half Life 1 wasd nothing specal in my opinion, I dont recomend you play it, play Aftermath (Episode 1) instead.

And Sixthree, just go away.
 
You need to play it to understand the story correctly. You have absolute no idea who the hell anyone is without playing hl1 first.
 
I never Played HL1 myself, even though I played HL1: Source (disapointment) but I really want to play Black Mesa: Source
 
HL1 in its time was brilliant, if you go back and play it you won't enjoy it
 
Not true. I finished it for the first time after HL2 came out, and I thought it was an absolute blast :D
 
I meant gameplay wise, Hl1: Source wasa disapointemtn because it did not do enough credit to the Source Havok engine.

I reckon Steam should be configured so that you have to play HL1 through before you're allowed to start HL2. It's only fair.
 
Yeah, and the Vortigaunts are in cahoots with Gman...

mmmnnnahh... that would result in more than a few complaints.

I say play Half-Life 1. I think it's a great game, even after all this time.
 
It is a pity there was no G-man's appearance in Ep:1. G-man's always cool. Appeared and disappeared, cool
