There have been really a few news for quite a time, but that's only because we are finally making preparations for release - geometry of the missions is finished (after 19 months of active development) and we are sorting out bugs, tweaking entities and finishing the code. I guess no new media until the release :)
 
This is the only canon HL game I haven't played yet, great news.
 
Even though I did not enjoy Decay on the PS2, probaly due to it being split screen (and even 1 player, you had to control both), I will still give this a go.

Also, you'll be able to play with a friend instead of having a dumb bot with you.
 
Will it have a SP mode (I think the original had one)?
 
I didn't know they were doing this, thanks! I'm guessing there'll be another post when it's actually released?

in the old one the worst part was that they didnt even follow you, you had to continually switch to move about. the only thing the one you were not playing as did independently was fire at enemies, which they didn't do brilliantly.

It almost sounds like a primitive tactical shooter.
 
would I be able to play this game by meself?
 
Just play the game with your best e-friend in the first place, I say.

Can't waint for this. I even considered buying a used PS2 and HL1 for PS2 because of not yet played Decay, haha.

I have the PS2 version. . . and getting a PS2 soon, my laptop wouldn't be able to run Decay anyways.

I've been waiting for this mod for a long time - I wish the maker's would give us a proper release date
 
It's coming right after Episode Two.
 
I hope they ****ing included the bonus mission because otherwise they sure took their sweet time.
