Back in the day I was part of HLR HalfLifeRadio and it died....I am going to attempt to bring it back.

In short it is a radio station / podcast that will go on each week. Not only can you tune in while you play or surf the webz....... you can tune in each week for a show dedicated to the Half-Life community. I'll even try to get Munro on the radio.

I need some help. I need some new people to join the shows. You will need some talent to pull this off but I will give anyone a chance. You will need Ventrilo. You will need a nice Mic (logitech USB) is a good one to get. This isn't about if you got a good voice its about you not being shy and able to speak your mind.

Looking for someone who is goofy, plays a music instrument and can go crazy on the show and be the entertainment when the news is slow.

Looking for someone who plays HL all the time and cant put it down

Looking for members of mods (great way to promote your mod) who can help me as I discus community interests.

Woah it's BlueWolf!! Nice to meet you.
I used to be a big fan of Half Life Radio back in the day.

I'm going to get a nice mic soon (a pop filter too), with my own pre-amp (well, a Behringer Xenyx mixer) and I have a professional sound card. I also have music hardware (drum machines and synthesizers) so maybe that could help a little with the music side of things.
My shyness might be something that has to simply be treated by getting to know the rest of the radio crew and become more comfortable around them. I'm usually very active and "fun" when I'm with people I am familiar with.

So I dunno how well I'd function as a member, but I definitely am pretty interested, if you are simply short on recruits.

Edit: Ha cool, playing some jungle/dnb on the radio right now huh. That's awesome.

Next few months I've got 2 free evenings to commit this time bluewolf. Our email discussion a few months ago went dry with commitments elsewhere at the time I'm afraid. From October onwards I'll put myself back in the frame for you. Also as I think the HL Radio is a great resource, we could perhaps get some guys from the mod team members which post here (and the veteran members) part of it.

also the show would last a hour unless we have a interview to do. The idea is to interview someone related to hl or the hl2 or tf2 and so on.

Just finished making some cool radio commercials so they are in the rotation

Thursdays sound fine, although 8pm CST would be 1am for GMT, which would be a great deal of people (Middle of the night for all Europeans). So there is that to consider too...
