Half-Life2 CE:Pre-order question??

Ok well about in august i pre-ordered hl2 at my local ebgames in my local mall. They currently didnt know that there even was a hl2 collectors edition, so i just ordered halflife2. Now im beginning to wonder almost a year later, when i go to pick up hl2, can i get the CE??? Im really confused! Hopefully i can just do an exhange and mayb an extra $20 for CE. What do you think? has this happened to you?

when i went to EB, i had a talk with the salesperson there about the pre-order policies and also asked about in case theres a Collectors Edition.. and i was assured i'd get to choose which version i wanted when i go to pick it up

its never a bad idea to go talk to the sales pple there... at least this way u have peace of mind that u will have the Collectors Edition if thats what u really want.

plus i think the CE will be limited.. so its smart to pre-order it

I preordered mine online so that it will be available at my local eb as soon as its released so all i need to do is go and pick it up.

Is their going to be a CE addition in other countries? All the UK sites I have visited to pre-order seem to not have a CE addition. So is their going to be a CE outside the US?!?
