I just checked out the Game.co.uk site, and they are pricing HalfLife2 at 29.99 (crikey), not sure if this price will change prior to release

I'm guessing its with counterstrike, but like I said, the price might change.
Anyway, I reserved, so I'm not sure I'll automatically get the CE, I'll report back with more info.

I emailed game.net last week about this and they said that they "didn't have any knowledge of the Collector's Edition being released outside of the US".

Looks like Vivendi wanted to keep it quiet until the street date was announced. How strange that they're not making us wait until the Friday in the UK. We usually have to wait like we did for Star Wars Battlefront. Not that I'm complaining!

Amazon, Play, UKGames or pcloaded aren't listing the Collector's Edition yet, I assume they're just being slow.

Think I may have to book some time off work in mid November

Think you may find it interesting. Confirmed price in poland is 40.7$/22.68pound/32.62€. What is more.. it will also include H-L: Source! And there's also a slight chance that it will include DoD: Source!

theres only 2 games where i paid alot of money for.

1: MicroMachines 3d for the PS1 which was £50

2: Metal Gear Solid1 Collectors edtion for the PS1 which was £70

3: And now Half Life2 £50 collectors edtion for the PC

i also live in the UK and have purchased the GOLD STEAM pack and wondering when i should get my goodies,

8 weeeks after retail? or 8 weeks from purchase time?
