Hammer always loads CS:S instead of HL2DM!!!

Why is it every time i try to run a map in hammer it always loads CS:S?

I set it on hl2DM in the "configuration" column but whenever i go back it always sets itself back on counterstrike... how do i get the map to play with hl2dm??

Before you launch hammer, set "Current Game" to Half-life 2 Deathmatch :cheers:

dont mean to question you but do this: click on play games, choose source sdk, now on bottom right click on hl2 or hl2dm. Choose hammer and see if that works. I'm not sure if you need to but then change the config within the editor. Sorry i couldnt be more clear but im not at the comp i use for hammer and gaming at this moment.

Yeah my roommate was having that problem. It's ironic though because my problem is that I don't even have CS:S as an option in that pull down; just HL2 and HL2DM.
