Hammer Not Compling at all

Hey yall this is the first time this error has ocured i tried everything from batch complit and all

im getting this error on all three options and i checked for problems on my map

SteamStartup() failed: SteamStartup(0xf,0x0012EF64) failed with error 1: The registry is in use by another process, timeout expired


i continue to get this error i have restarted steam redid my source sdk and everything and it still does it please help

Close GFCScape if it's open.

I dont have GFCscape and the error still occures compling all of the maps i have made
