When starting up Steam today, I got a hardware survey request...one of the questions was do I have a microphone....wonder what that could mean...

maybe it has something to do with tf:source...however, if there was some voice over IP, they'd certainly do the survey for all multiplayer games, but if it was voice recognition...well, there's nothing they could use it for...
So, it's got something to do with multiplay voice transmission.
