HDR Mod: Difficulty Settins

Hi guys, have been away from this forum for a while but now got some time to kill.

I'm getting ready to replay HL2 (again), but this time I'm playing it through using the R8-HDR Mod. The problem is that it is using the multiplayer HL2 interface, so the option menu does not have difficulty settings and the game is ridiculously easy. Is there a command I can type in the console to put the difficulty on hard?

I've been searching through the posts, but haven't been lucky.

try typing:
skill 2
or:
skill 3
in the console. I'm not sure, but 0 should be easy, 1 should be normal and 2 hard.
