Anyone here get them frequently? Im in very good shape but still them sometimes when i get up quickly. A few months ago I got one so bad that I woke up on the floor in my living room.

I get them all the time. Pretty much everytime I get up quickly, I'm bound to have one. They used to really bother me, not so much anymore..

I used to, every time I stood up, I would get tunnle vision, then black out completely, then come back around a few seconds later, wondering wtf happened?

Kind of like when you take a bunch of deep breaths, and block off the blood vessels to the brain, and you get a lack of oxygen to the brain, and you black out for a period of time, and come to all tingly and such..yeah, kinda like that.

I get them sometimes, usually when I'm sick, but not all the time, that'd be worrying :O

I get them ocationaly (like twice a year) when I stand up quickly, usualy while sick. I also get seemingly random pains in my left ear every month or so.

I get a head rush only if I have been sitting or lieing down for more than a few hours.
I get up and run around frequently so I don't get them much anymore.

i have asthma and if i take a hit from an inhaler, then get up, im DONE.....i usually pass out....its a good time

I rarely get these but yea that has happened to me plenty of times too, where I would end up on the floor going "wtf oh man i blacked out!"

I never 'black out' when I get them, I usualy just collapse back onto my chair and get very confused.

the worst is when that happens and your in public and everyone looks at you like you are out of your mind, which you somewhat are at the time

I used to get these all the time. Not so much any more.

A friend of mine was once dating a girl and she told him to pin her up against the wall by her throat, then let her go after a while. She asked him to do this because it was apparently an awesome headrush. Nice upstanding Catholic girl too.

He never did it, because that is frankly ****ed up.

I've never passed out, either. In my life. You all just can't take your oxygen like a man.

I just go really light headed when i stand up quickly sometimes.

I once inhaled helium, did the voice, then went REALLY light headed and high instantly. Lasted about 2 mins and the whole first 45 seconds i was saying "woah, holy shit this is ****ing...woah...hahahah"

In a helium voice :|

I've heard of this being called "The American Dream". It was a fad that passed through the town I go to school in very quickly.

I hear alot of people die by strangling themselves when they masturbate....apparently it makes it better....weird eh?

Lately I've been having alot of head ruches too (last 5 months), the worst one so far, I was laying down, got up quickly, ran up the stairs to throw out a candy wrapper, and when I opened the garbage I felt the effects of it, I fell to the ground, luckily my ass broke my fall. Havn't passed out, though...

A boy died because of that here, and now it's against the rules in most schools.

The punishment can be very harsh.......

i have friends who've done that, seems dumb as hell to me.

i get headrushes pretty frequently. i love how i stagger around for a few seconds like i'm drunk.

I use to get the a lot. But recently I have not had one in the past month or so... thank god.

Yeah, another factor may be that I'm in really shitty shape. I'm not fat, but yeah, I don't really excercise.

I get them all the time when I stand up quickly and it really pisses me off. I remember one time waking up and getting up from bed and starting to walk out of the room. A really bad one came on and the next thing I know I'm on my back. D:

I kind of like getting them....its fun to not know if your going to pass out

I used to get them. My vision would surge with weird dots of strange color too.

Tip: If you don't want to feel the effects as strongly then look down at the ground when you feel it coming on. That's what I learnt to do.

I used to get that a lot when I stood up too quickly, but I've never passed out. I haven't been getting them lately, although I do get dizzy when I stand up and have to walk around. I blame poor circulation and not enough blood.

WOAH.

WTF. You guys full on pass out?

I usually just get a headache for a half second, and then go on my merry way.

Very rarely will i pass out, but its happened

I only get them if I get up too quick after lying down ... not passed out yet.

I get them when I stand up quickly after being sat down for a while. A lot of the time I can't see for more than ten seconds, and I look like a right wally as I flail about trying to get my balance, but I've never passed out. I think it's because I have terrible circulation and I'm quite tall.

Only get them when my blood pressure is too low due to dehydration/electrolyte loss.

I've never passed out in my life so i doubt i would from this.
