I was thinking, wouldn't it be neat if there was a Heli Attack mod for HL2? Most, if not all of the guns in Heli Attack are already done, so all that would need to be coded in would probably be a modified Helo AI.
Then the only thing left to do is make maps that fit the gameplay well (linear and small), put in the helo nodes, and then drop in some combine on the map!
Dunno, just brainstorming. Maybe i'll do it with the Lua in Gmod 8.4.
EDIT: Oh and for those not in the "know", Heli Attack is a very popular series of Flash games floating around the net. Google it.
