Help offered: A writer

Wotcha, guys.

I'm offering myself as a writer. By that, I mean that I would like to write scripts for dialogue, detailed plots, design templates, character and location descriptions for websites, publicity articles, and a fair few other things. I'd rather work on an original single-player mod, but I'm not too plussed.

I'm interested in writing my own epic single-player mod at some point, but I've got to start somewhere. I understand the need for some sort of proof, and I've got a few bits and bobs done, as well as being a writer for now dead Gamespy Sim City 4 site and TotalHL2, which is also dead due to both owners of the site vanishing.

I hope to be writing soon, folks!

hey, HL Medieval is looking for a writer if you're interested in writing a story and witty dialog for characters in the game

it's a TFC and minigame style mod set in the middle ages. pretty cool stuff, a bit complicated.

I'll definately think about it, but I'll see who else wants me, too! I can work on two mods, but it depends on the work load, I guess.

I forgot to mention:

My prefered style of writing is narrative fiction, not dialogue, but I'm not that bothered.

Well, sorry for the late response. As for the examples, I'm currently buggered sideways, being unable to even find the people who used to own the site with the examples on! It currently looks like I'll have my next examples done for either a different mod, or the full story and design document of "Today (here's my idea, Sprafa)" unfortunately.
 
I actually have a nice idea to a "today" ep....oh well.

If you have written a TV pilot or a movie script send that to me as well :)
 
TV pilots and movie scripts are the sort of thing I'd love to do at some point, and I'd love to write either one sometime soon.

As for Sprafa, I'd love to hear your idea.
 
Hey Kangy - SillyBilly here (damn, who dreams up these nicknames?), have a look here - http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=26657 - you can fire my model a bit like the rest of the guys ;) - but there's a link to another post that outlines my Reinstatement mod. I'm after someone to script background stories and plots for missions - would require a lot of research though to make them as believable and realistic as possible. But hey - if you're up for a challenge you could give me a hand - lol.
As I said plots would need to be believable though - politically orientated - always helps in a stereotypical counter terrorism mod ;)
 
Hm, I'd like to give it a go!

I'm still writing "Today" and shall do so until it is finished, but I'd still like to see what I can do. I've also been contacted about something else, so I may have to drop one in order to get some real work done on "Today" as well as the mod I choose.

Still, definate response soon.
