help please!!!!

When I download an addon and save it to my addons folder in garrys mod it doesnt put it into the game. I think im saving it wrong can someone tell me how to save it right....thx

johnny do you have PKzip? because you have to extract the files to your GMOD/GMOD/ADDONS directory in order to properly install the mod.
