Hello, i bought and downloaded Half-life 2 and Garrys mod 10 from steam yesterday. when i tried to play half life 2 whenever it came to a loading screen it would freeze and close the game and i would get a message saying " half life 2 has encountered a problem and needs to close" i was then given the choice to "debug" (which does nothing and closes the came ), "send error report" ( which again does nothing ) or "dont send" (which closes the game.)
so i thought to myself " at least i can still use Gmod"... Now ive just tryed to open Gmod 10 and it came up with the loading screen with the traffic cone on his head when i got the same message as i did in Half life. does anyone know how to sort out this problem im having?
