Can someone help me by telling me how to install hl2 mods, and what software do I need, do I need just hl2 or something more.:bounce::imu:

Most of the time, you'll just need HL2. Soem mdos are based off HL2DM or other Source games, so for those mods you'll need the respective game.

You need to place the mod folder under Steam/Steamapps/Sourcemods and restart Steam. Then you should be able to see the mod in your Games List.

Thank you very much, the way I see I’ll need to by original game because I tried everything I can think of with my pirate version. If someone knows if I can play mods with pirate version please tell me how.

You need a credit/debit card.
download steam, buy the full game. This will let you play mods.
