Help with the Hover Craft in Water Hazard

Hey gang, I'm wondering if there is a way I can get better control of my Hover Craft in the Water Hazard level of HL2. I'm having trouble controlling the vehicle smoothly (especially with heli's blasting me from above...lol ).

I don't know if controlling the craft is connected to mouse sensitivy settings, etc. but it seems to be pretty sensitive to control with the movement keys.:bounce:

Maybe I just suck :monkee:

Anyhow, any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Prozac :sniper:

Well when your stopped, and try to turn into a certain direction, it goes opposite.
Watch out!

Yeah... That pisses me off... I look down, and turn at the same time, and I'm on the opposite direction I wanted so I could shoot, then I die...

Driving the airboat does take a lot of practise. I used to suck at driving it, I'd crash into things all the time!! I also hated the it where you have to get away from the chopper! It's a good idea to make use of the large open area just after you get the airboat. You can get used to driving around and jumping ramps there!!! Not sure what other advice I can give you except to practise!!!
