Ok I'm om the first mission where go thew to a place and the girl goes to a computer and she says bring me a mine or somthing like that i try everything there and i cant get threw this its where you cant walk threw the glass becouse she has to open it or somthing like that.

You should go left, get down to the platform, and under a 'pipe' full of mines, press the red button and the mines will drop down on you. Catch one with the gravity gun (you could push the rest of the mines down from the platform, so they don't harras you), then return to Alyx with the mine, using the broken elevator.
