i think this might sound stupit but... im uninstaling HL2 on one computer and puting it on another. i got half way into it already. because of the steam account can i still have the saved game or do i need to start over?

Unless you transfer your saved games also, you must start over, I'm afraid.

how do you transfer your saved game

copy everything in your:
D:\Steam\SteamApps\email\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE
folder

paste it in that folder on the new computer
