IMO banning is rarely ever fair punishment. Only in the most extreme cases should someone be deleted from the community forever.

Is this rule only for signing up another account with the same IP, or for posting from the same IP with different accounts? Like lets say you create another account at a friends house, then go back home to post with it. Can you be caught if you do that?

I find this quite odd. I just read the rules and no where does it state that a person is not allowed to have more than one user account on the same IP. It does, however, state that a person is not allowed to create another account to circumvent a ban.

No where, and by golly I mean no where, does it state that a person should be banned for having multiple accounts. He did not try and 'circumvent' a ban. He merely had a couple of accounts created using that IP.

The point Im making is Pes was a good member, he made ONE fake user, to which he did NOT spam with. And this gets him banned? If it was any other he would just been warned for it. But no, he posts about hetaria and suddenly gets banned. Thats like turning up at the ****ing murder site with a bloody axe and telling the police "I didnt do it" mods.

Makes a bit more sense now tbh - same registration IPs, but different posting ones.

Pesmerga will be unbanned in 4 hours.

Yeah, I had noticed that too. Maybe just the fact that he already had those accounts means he was trying to circumvent the ban, especially if he logged into another account after the ban. It sounds vague though.

*Register or use more then one account or re-register after being banned or attempt to circumvent the ban in any way.

They fused a couple of rules together in a few of them. Probably to cut down on bullet points.
