hev suit model found in dark energy

In dark energy use noclip and find a large dark shaft. it may look empty but when you get to the bottom you find the suit. you can check for yourself.

Quite interesting if this is in fact true. Maybe the dark energy changed his body so that he doesn't need the HEV suit, but instead the power is loaded into his body...or something

Here are some screenshots I took. Some how I lost my suit and gravity gun when I went there.

The shaft is in dark energy (the chapter). Just fly around and you'll find it. It's when breen is already in the teleporter. When you fly out using noclip, you'll see that that part of the lev is tiny. the shaft is the size of an elevator shaft. I don't think that it is connected to the rest of the level. by large I ment high, not wide.

uhh...that's pretty freaky. That whole lift-shaft sequence gave me the chills. Anyone care to suggest an explanation (of the suit being there, not the hairs on the back of my neck sticking up)

My only guess is that it's there because of what happens in that chapter.. *SPOILER*

It strips you of all your weapons (and possibly your HEV suit that only goes to 100) and gives you back the new grav gun which is in that screenshot, and now all of a sudden your suit can charge to 200. Maybe those are the two things that are moved to you (given to you) when that part in the sequence happens.. hard to explain..

It's probably due to them weapon-stripping you. They then have to give your suit back, probably.

It's probably so that when you start a new chapter at Dark Energy you pick up the suit and grav gun, because that's where you spawn at.

I just went and looked again. Its in the tunnel right below the place where the level begins. Maybe It took your suit and upgraded it and they had to put it somewhere so they put it down there. So use noclip to go down the tunnel and find the suit.

No, i said we know because you acted like we were trying to prove you wrong, we're agreeing with you, and trying to find possible explanations. Obviously you aren't lieing, nor would it matter if you were.

I stick with my hypothesis of you getting the new suit that can charge to 200 (physically, not a new suit in the story, just one that enables the 200 armor capacity) and the new gravity gun.

Now stop reading everything we say as if it were the exact opposite.

well i am not sure if you need a new suit for that. You know in MP there are those few chargers that charge up to 200, maybe those chargers are in the Citadel, did anyone notice if they look diff in those chapters or not.

likely its because you lose all your weapons, and are then given them back in that room before you actually see anything in the map.

THe hev suit could always go past 100...

OR...maybe the suit model is a glitch or Valve put it there to **** with you. Gordon doesn't loose his suit in the "weapon-stealing" chamber. If he did, you woulda seen it rip off him or something and be floating there with everything else. When the chamber attempts to destroy all your weapons, it is made very clear that the grav gun and suit are "zapped" instead of destroyed and made more powerful by a fluke. I'm sure if you noclipped in every single level and just went exploring you'd find all kinds of weird shit. I noclipped once in the first "teleportation" level to try and find the room Eli was in. in the process, I found a completely empty duplicate of the room you get teleported FROM. Doesn't mean it has anything to do with the actual events or plot of the game......

Obviously it wouldn't get ripped off you.. I'm not saying that that happens in the story, i'm saying it would happen to enable 200 charging. One of those things that happens in the game that you never see.. like in fy maps when you spawn with a weapon, really you just spawned on top of one and picked it up. Pay more attention please. common sense = requirement

They could have used the suit as a scale reference.

But the 200 charging probably isn't it. 200 armour is commonplace in MP, without any suit-switching.

it's for whne you type map d3_breen_01 in console, it equips you with those items. nothing mysterious.

if that was true, then the hev suit and all the weapons would be in every map, but i dont think they are
