Hev suit Pictures

Hey all it my first time posting here.

For my art project at school im planning to make a Full body Hev suit. Im requesting your help and asking if you know of any good places where i can get good reference pictures of the "mark 5" and the suit from half-life. Also in your opinion which would be the best to make hl2 or hl. I have done google search's but i havnt found many good pictures. Thank you in advance for your help.

My advice would be to buy Raising the Bar! It's got loads of concept art and explanations of the designs of objects. Might be an interesting read if that sort of thing interests you.

The Mark 5 was the suit in the movie Men of Honor

I was a diver in the Navy and got to see these suits up close - they don't use them anymore, but had many on display on the quarterdeck for the dive school. It's in Panama City Beach, Fl.

I don't know what's required but can't you just open the model in a model viewer?

Well i have been thinking about this, What software + tools do u need. I do quite alot of game design have bought software called Acknexs, there model editor main file type is ".mdl" which i believe is the file format of hl models. plus when i extract the models where should i look to find them, this there a certian folder i should look in.

Goto steam. Click play games, then go into the Source SDK. Then open up model viewer, and find the HEV Suit and open it. You can then move the model around and take as many screenshots as you like

SDK problem

I have got the source SDK, i did the gameinfo.txt error thing but now i cant import any models. Have i do something wrong ?
