Well I just thought I better say hello to everyone and just as one question too; is there ANY way to LEGALLY play HL2 without broadband (10 hours on dial up is no option rofl) coz i really want to play HL2 and be part of the scene, just i got no BB Maybe if i cry enough to valve they'll let up...

oh well back to Oblivion and Generals then and who can forget the original HL with a bloom mod rofl

well thanks for the welcome once again and by the by I have played HL2 lol I played my friends copy and got all the way to the striders (where u command a squad) but I just dont have a copy of my own, which is what I want I keep seein my friend playing CS:S and showing me garrys mod lol its unfair!

Also, can a 9600 pro do HL2 HDR?

Id just like to inform everyone that I am now a proud owner of HL2!!! Im really disappointed with steam (neither cs:s or hl2 will authenticate past 14 and 20 percent respectivly) so im playing a "homebrewed" version of the game until i can borrow my friends broadband to do it well i just got it working today and im up to water hazard and its great! :sniper: valve

It's ok, I've got dial-up and it only took me 2 nights to DL HL2, CS: S, and HL2: DM
