HL mod problems

i donno if anyone would know the answer to this but i've been having a problem with a HL mod... blue shift. whenever i minimize the screen for anyreason want to change the controls, and try to go back to game play, i just comes up with a screen that says blue shift v1.000 something like that... WTF???:frown: HELP!! i don't like having to reload the entire game every time i want to chage some settings

Why would you minimize the screen to change the controls? Hit Escape and go to Options.

i just found my blue shift cd, cant figure out how to get it working on steam, anybody got a link that could help me out?

even if i do that, the same thing happens.... i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck...WTF

doesn't work with steam, it's a seperate mod, which is somewhat dumb on valve's part

You could try running it in windowed mode, then it wouldn't be minimised and then you could simply move it out of the way.

I think it's the same thing as usual to switch between windows: Alt-Tab

If switching fails, try opening up the console - that should free up the mouse pointer.

All I can suggest at the moment.

Tell me, are you running Blue Shift in Direct 3D video mode? If so, change it to Open GL and try again.
