I'm afraid my good man, that it will be "The Fluorescent Pink Box".

If BM:s sell out to Valve, I will personally go round to each of the developers houses and beat them to death with a blunt instrument, to wit, a Vortigaunt. Seriously though, one of the best things about this mod is that it's valves story done by someone else. Oh, ad it's going to be free.

How would you like it if someone took your idea and put nicer graphics on it? Who do you think is going to get all the credit for the mod, Valve or the BM:S team?

They probably think that because it's free, people who don't have HL will prefer to download the mod for free, making Valve lose money.
But in fact you need HL2 for the mod to play...and who didn't play HL?

Well I'm saying that only because somewhere else a guy said that theory of his..not really sure what those guys think.

Why can't they just do some kinda deal thing? 50% goes to them, 50% goes to BMS.

Surprisingly I know a lot of people who got the OB and never played HL1.

Seconded but it should be a freebie considering you need HL2 to play it. Also to those who have never played HL1, for god's sake play it already. Remember, this is the internets, there are special means of acquiring such things....dare I say that I have used such means?

I'd personally be flattered that they love my work enough for them to put in all that effort.

Besides, Valve don't hate BM. They might hate BM:S, since Source is a copyright term and they told the BM team to stop using it, but they've acknowledged the team and included screenshots from the mod in Steam updates since.
