HL2 coupon - download or delivery?

OK guys here the deal, i live in Australia and i got an HL2 coupon.

According to https://www.atihl2offer.com/prodPurchase.asp?type=single , i could either download the Valve Premiere Pack, recieve the Valve Premiere Pack or just recieve Half-Life 2.

Hmmm, I of course would love to play HL2 the first day it is out. However, i would love to have the box and manual too.

Heres the problem:

I don't know what to get.

The cost for the delivery is $10USD and $18AUD. Another good thing is the ability to make backup copies of the CD's, whereas the download can't be backed up.

What do you guys think?

Well as far as backups the download can be backed up. Just copy your gcf file to a DVD or many cds.

Myself I would download it. The download can be backed up, and I am pretty sure that once the CD key is registered to you, you can install it from steam again. Although it might take awhile depending on the size of HL2

First of all Id want the retail pack cuz its cooler and Id might get it signed by the Valve crew, its also cooler to have the box in some way? Second of all Id want to get the game right away, ASAP and/or YESTERDAY!!!

i have the coupon but ill most likely buy it in the store the day it comes out cuz that 4-6 weeks thing...i dont understand how in the age of ups ground and fedex overnight it still takes 4-6 weeks for shit to get delivered. i mean wtf ....are they walking to my house from seattle with y copy of hl2? i dont understand why it would take that long for a small package weighing roughly 5-7 ounces to reach my house in the year 2004.

I got a coupon with my 9800XT, and the ATI web site said I needed to present the purchase receipt for it. I got it as a gift from on of my vendors, so no receipt. I'll see if I can still use it to download from Steam (sans receipt) and still buy the collectors edition. Or, simply wait a year or so and buy it for a much cheaper price (while already having it on my PC via Steam).
