I keep getting thie damn message:


hl2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

the game doesnt even get to start! when i try to open it the little steam window says " preparing to launch Counter Strike: Source " then craps out! evey time i try to open CS:S, DOD:S, HL2, and HL2: DM!?!? why is this!? i didnt even do anything!? some one please help me?

now that you mention it... I dont, I did but i reset windows to last working... thingy or what ever and after that i didnt have windows media player 10 anymore and apparently i no longer have directX9c as well... thanx.
