I would but i'm stuck at creating shortcut i don't know which line to enter the commands in..target or um..the other one

It appears to be just the same stuff we've been playing (one spawn point, no animations, etc) but made into a more easy-to-use package with a menu and all that jazz... and it looks harmless.

EDIT: Don't expect much until we get the source code part of the SDK (though, it might be possible for someone to hack something together from the stolen code).

Do u think its worth installing and gettin tied up and meshed with hl2? or should i just wait for one with more features, in other words real multiplayer mod?
How longs that gunna be, within 2 weeks?

It goes in its own folder, hl2mp, separate from the hl2 folder... it shouldn't cause any mess.

People more or less attempted the same thing with Doom 3. They tried to hack together a co-op game without the SDK. Needless to say, it was buggy and didn't work very well.

I wouldn't waste my time imo.

Can anyone help me understand this line?
How do I make a shortdoc?

right click HL2 in the my games list, go to properties, then to launch options, add the parameter stuff in the box that comes up.

Someone start a server! with cheats on, do some fun stuff in coop.

How was the lag? And i got that bloody Referenced error crap just now. That seems to happen almost all the time when I load up that Physmap we were just on, then switch to another map.

myemail/halflife2/ is where u install it

I will try an ACTUAL map, but with 1-2 players max.

Wow i cant get this working. I extracted it to my accountname/halflife2 and I made a hl2 shortcut on desktop and added the -hl2mp and it dosent work. the maps wont show up.

the only fun part was when i shot that barrel into teh admin and he died instantly. then he decided to sv_cheats 1 then it got boring i left after that..
