HL2 Music/The Postal Service?

While listening to the Postal Service's "Natural Anthem" I coulnd't help but feel the song is very very similar to some of the tracks in HL2. I almost feel they should have had this song playing while the credits were rolling, the lyrics are very fitting as well:

"I'll write you a song and it won't be hard to sing
It will be a natural anthem, familiar it may seem
It will rally all the workers on strike for better pay
And its chorus will resound and boost morale throughout the day

I'll write you a song and I hope that you won't mind
Because all the names and places I have taken from real life
So please don't get upset at this portrait that I paint
It may be a little biased, but at least I spelt your name right..."

P.S. The Postal Service's album was produced in Seattle as well. Seems all that industrial rock/emo has a good source.

That's a ridiculous stretch.

Almost as ridiculous as Postal Service lyrics. They can make some catchy tunes, but listening to those awful lyrics is just painful.

In conclusion: no.
