hl2 & video cards..new review when HL2 goes retail?

u guys think they will review hl2 again
(with the highend vid cards)once it goes retail?
because i got the money to get a 6800gt or a xt800xt, but i wanna wait to see what card is the fastest.

I can already tell you that the X800 will run HL2 better. It is optimised for HL2.

x800xt, all benchmarks for hl2 show the x800xt will run it better than any other card

closing this as this is in the wrong section, and there's a plethora of similar threads in the hardware/software forum.

Although I cna promise you that if you buy one of the top-of-the-line cards, you won't notice a difference while playing.
