HL2DM 2d Platformer Mod

Hey all,
Some friends and I just released the beta version of our first mod, Antfarm: Spheres. It's based on a patch I wrote for HL2DM that converts it from first person shooter to 3rd person 2d platformer. You can find video on Google Video, and download the beta version (17mb)from (these mirrors).
Pretty much you play as either a Rebel or a Combine armed with only a gravity gun, which you can use to grab combine energy balls from strategically placed spawners to disintegrate your opponents or punt them out of your way and possibly to their deaths. I'd love to hear what you think!

Great idea, it's kinda like air hockey.

That's really cool. Some may argue that this is downgrading the game, i.e. "why would you make a 3d game into a 2d game". I actually think it compensates as you use the y axis much more than you would in an fps.
