Hmm at HL2 fallout

Just seen a topic about Valve dealing with the people using cc exploits and cd keys that good for them they are cracking down on those people!
But I go over to HL2 fallouts forum and I see all these kids start talking about retaliation on people who are giving spoliers away and spamming other networks.. well I think alot of those people on hl2 fallouts forums are being alittle to childish . it discusses me
Let valve personally handle their own buisness.

People posting spoilers and spam on forums is our business.

Most of you have no idea how much spam and spoiler stuff we get rid of before you actually get to see it.

A lot of people would be livid apparently if some person gave away the end of the game. Which is fair enough I guess.

Childish is probably the wrong way to put it. They just don't want things spoiled really. A bit like if you found out tomorrow how and when you died - it'd spoil the surprise!

But yeah, we reported on the fraud thing earlier on the news page and we think it's brilliant.

Additionally to what Pi Mu Rho said, we have seen a lot of spoilers and at the end of the day, it's not by choice. It's something we have to do to stop you guys from seeing it.

As many plot twists as you read, or are accidently privy to, I really doubt the words are anything compared to how valve will present it ingame, there will still be plenty of visual surprises, theres more to telling the story than just the dialogue script. imo.

We got sweet revenge though by getting their entire forums deleted :smoking:
