How did you experience Half-Life 2?

So, how did you experience Half-Life 2? With what sound setup, to be exact

I was immersed in a 4.1 surround sound setup.

i have 4 speakers but for some reason i get interference and i cant use it so i played it in 2 speaker mode, it's werid the other day i some how, with out doing anything, got a reception from some track driver and i hired his entire conversion with another truck driver, werid, isnt it?
