How Do I Make A Free Good-Looking "School Graduates" Forum?

Well the thing is, my classmates are all going to different countries to study and i thought maybe i could create some kind of a forum and get everyone to sign up there and post time to time so we could keep in touch.
so, any Suggestions for a free Host or things that'll make the forum intresting? i mean like i don't even know what kind of catagories i should put in...

that ^ or download phpbb,install it on your webserver , go through some of the styles on their site and install one. if you dont have webspace get some free hosting from a php compliant site and then tiny url it, if you cant find any pm me.
