how do i play mods

i have unziped the strider mod and an other mod to the steam apps/source mods folder. but how do i play them, i go to the sream menu but they are not there

where is the third party games section in steam then

It's in the normal 'my games' window.

BTW, if people can help you, then they will, posting a message every few minutes isn't gonna encourage people to help you, infact it may do the opposite.

no there not, all thats in there is half-life 2, countersrick source, codename gordan and hl2dm.

did you extract the files from the mods to a folder inside the SourceMods folder? or did you just extract the files to that folder?

That may or may not have made sense

It is obvious u havent put it in the correct folder

also dont do the post-post-post-post thing its annoying and makes me wish u off the forums..

in the source mods folder ther is another folder which has the same name as the folder. so its sourcemods/folder/mod

so is that wrong

SteamApps/SourceMods

Mods and Modes are not the same word.
