How i NOW have to get hl2...

I have bought the silver steam package but account got hacked so gotta send my hl1 away to seattle (from uk) blah blah...

So i now have to buy hl2 retail (to play on the day, which i have it off so might aswel lol) so i WAS going to go to a choices video at th bottom of my road but they dont sell PC games anymore (as the guy said today) so that was a bummer.

My next choice is getting a bus to Blockbuster but that's not a definate.

Third and Most definate way is going into town, i've checked sites and i can get it from ***** (not telling ) for £26 wheras it'd be £35 from the top 2 PC game retailers.

So to make the HL2 release i'l have to be catching a bus at like 7:30! :O damnit!

Anyone else sorta gotta do the same to get a copy?

yes, i do. i had it ordered from ukpc.co.uk since a long time ago.
so i still have not got an e-mail of dispatch yet. when i do that will take another 4 or 5 days to get here(im in ireland). so i will have to take the day of collage, travel 45 minuits to game stop and be back at about 10:45 to play it. the same game stop that i went into today to see if i could get it today so i woulnt have to get up so ealy and travell all that way, the guy behind the counter said i need to sent a code off to stop viruses and every thing and that if i sent it off early microsoft would find out and they would come and eat him. lol.
also i checked the ukpc.co.uk website today and it said that they dispatched it on the 16th of november 2004, which is funny because as you all know its only the 14th.

That's a shame about your account mate Have you got a PC World near you? They're notorious for putting games out the day before release. You could pop in there tonight (most are open till 8PM).
