How "save" (backup) profile?

Hi, how i can save profile with chapters? i found only SAVE but i need backup complete chapters, thx

You don't need to backup the chapters, just type "sv_unlockedchapters 15" (or a lesser number if you haven't completed the game) into the console (accessed with `, if you start Half-Life 2 with the "-console" parameter in place).

lol, good point So is it 5 or 6 chapters? I assume six unlocks the Ep2 vid as well.

If by chance you can't figure out the console, just play your most advanced save game (say, on the train with Alyx) and when the credits finish rolling, the chapters should unlock.

There's no need to. The chapter "saves" are common to every version of the game. The game doesn't save your progress at the chapter points, it just unlocks what are in effect embeded saved-games within the game itself. By starting the chapters you're given a standardised inventory, not the inventory you actually had when you personally got to that point when you last played through. If you try the game on any computer by starting from the chapter menu, you'll find that you have the same ammount of ammunition, weapons etc.
