How would you handle it?

I finished HL2 a few days ago, and i liked it.
I especially liked how it did facial animations, npc interactions and all that stuff, whether or not they were scripted.

so my thoughts turned to how real people would do in gordons shoes, how well they would do.

So heres my question: how well do you think you could, in real life, deal with some of the enemies from the game? i imagine i could beat yer garden variety headcrab, but anything more and im screwed.

As much as I'd like to think I would, I'd only be able to do as much as the standard Resistance member; and probably not even that. Those guys can take surprising amounts of damage...

But yeah, I reckon I could do well against a normal headcrab. Providing I had a gun. A crowbar, and, well, those things are mighty agile...

I think, with all those weapons, it would be safe to take on most anything man-sized or smaller that doesn't have a gun. Not the fast zombies though.

So, the other two zombies, the headcrabs, and the antlions would be killable enough for me.

when i think about it, i suppose i might be able to kill a standard zombie, provided:

I have a decent gun

Im suitably mentally prepared

and last but (bloody well) not least:

there is considerable distance between ME and IT

AND i might be able to kill a combine or metrocop, but only if they are looking the other way and humming
